This year, Hays Technology have once again partnered with Empact Ventures to power the Super Connect for Good Competition, as we seek to promote startups and scale-ups that create positive social impact through tech.
Each year we invite companies with a social purpose from across the UK and Ireland, as well as Europe, to register. The benefits for applicants include further opportunities for connections, exposure and access, as well as prizes for the runners-up and overall winners.
On Thursday 18th November, we will hold our virtual final where the regional winners will make their final pitches to be named as the Super Connect for Good 2021 Overall Champion. We’ll also announce our Top 10 Innovation Winners, while there will be roundtables where 30+ speakers (including myself) will be discussing three of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
A few weeks ago, I sat down with Kosta Mavroulakis, CEO and Founder of Empact Ventures, and James Hallahan, Director for Hays Technology in UK & Ireland. We will all be appearing at the final on the 18th of November but, before that, we wanted to introduce the competition, its purpose and our reasons for driving its growth.
As I explain, Hays Technology recognises that candidates are looking for roles within startups, and we’ve been keen to find companies in their early stages and collaborate with them to share knowledge and insight.
